Day 1st. Kathmandu

Your warm welcome to Nepal. Nice India Travel representative will receive you atthe airport and assist you to the hotel by booked vehicle. Representative will discuss aboutentire tour program and basic things to prepare during trip in Nepal after reach in the hotel.After check-in, stay overnight in the Kathmandu hotel.

Day 2nd. Kathmandu – Nagarkot

After breakfast in the hotel you will go for Kathmandu sightseeing. First you will go to Patan which is also known as Lalitpur and 5 Km south from Kathmandu. This is also one of the ancient city of Nepal as well as UNESCO World Heritage Site where you can see 55 major temples, 136 Buddhist monasteries, and fine metal works. The city is the centre of two influential religion, Hinduism and Buddhism. Patan is also famous for producing Thanka painters in the country. After that you will go to Pashupati Nath temple which is dedicated to the Lord Shiva and built in 5th century AD by Malla Kings after discover Shiva Lingam in the bank of river Bagmati. There are other deities and Buddhist monasteries nearby the temple. This is the largest temple complex in Nepal. 

After lunch head to Nagarkot. You will go to Nagarkot which is 32 Km east from Kathmandu. Nagarkot elevation is around 2200 meters which makes it the most scenic spots in Bhaktapur region. This is also very famous for sunrise and sunset view in the Himalaya and Mount Everest as well as other peaks of eastern Nepal. After arrive in Nagarkot you will go for beautiful sunset then overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 3rd. Nagarkot – Bhaktapur - Kathmandu

Early morning sunrise from Nagarkot, breakfast in the hotel and head to Bhaktapur and Kathmandu. Bhaktapur which is around 20 Km from Kathmandu valley. Bhaktapur known as the “City of Devotees” or the “City of Culture” and this is a living heritage among 3 cities of Kathmandu valley. You can see how the all cities was looking in medieval period. Pagoda style sky high temples, The Royal Courtyards, and fine clay pottery is the main highlights in Bhaktapur. The city is also UNESCO World Heritage Site. After visit, you will go to Thamel which is the most crowded place and the main commercial hub called Thamel in Kathmandu. This is very famous also for eating and shopping. After dinner, overnight stay in the Hotel.

Day 4th. Kathmandu

Durbar Square (UNESCO World Heritage Site) or Hanuman Dhoka Surbar Square which is one of the oldest part in the city and in front of the old royal palaces of Malla and Shah of the former Kathmandu Kingdom. It was built in 12-13th century AD. You can see the beautiful buildings, temples, and revealing courtyards which is built by Newar artists and craftsmen over several centuries. After visit, you will go to Swyambhunath is also known as the Monkey Temple which is located in the Northwest part of Kathmandu valley. This is a good place to catch panoramic view of Kathmandu city. The Swayambhunath stupa is the oldest of its kind in Nepal. After lunch, next place will be to visit Bouddhnath which is one of the biggest (36-meter-high) and old one in South Asia as well as UNESCO World Heritage Site. There are around 50 other monasteries nearby Bouddhnath. The Bouddhnath is the centre of Tibetan Buddhism in Nepal. It is 8 Km east from Kathmandu downtown. This stupa has been built by Tibetan.

Day 5th. Kathmandu – Pokhara

After breakfast, you will go to Pokhara which is around 200 Km west from Kathmandu and in terms of area this is the largest metropolitan city of Nepal. The city altitude is around 800 meters. After reach in Pokhara you will have lunch and then you will have free time. After dinner overnight stay in Pokhara hotel.

Day 6th. Pokhara

Early morning you will go to Sarangkot for Sunrise along with fantastic view of Annapurna mountains. Out of the ten, 3rd world’s highest mountains Annapurna range – Annapurna I, Dhaulagiri, and Manasulu is within 30 Km to 50 Km from Pokhara. There is also a very famous lake in Pokhara called Phewa Lake which is the 2nd largest in Nepal. Pokhara is the famous destination for leisure, trekking, paragliding, hiking, and boating in Phewa lake. T Devis fall, boating in Phewa Lake, and Gupteshwar caves are the main attraction in Pokhara

Day 7th. Pokhara – Lumbini

After morning breakfast head to Lumbini which is 170 Km from Pokhara. After arrive lunch and then you will go for Lumbini sightseeing. Lumbini is world’s most spiritual place and every year many people come to visit from all around the world to visit Lumbini, for meditation, and to study Buddhism. Mayadevi temple is the main attraction where you can find Buddha birth place. Buddha was born here in 563 BC. Furthermore, there are Ashoka pillar with inscription which prove that Lumbini is the birth place of Buddha. The Ashoka pillar is built by Ahsoka in 3rd century BC and made by sandstone. You can also see Pushkarini pond where (The sacred pond) queen Maya took the ritual dip before birth of Buddha. After birth of Buddha he also took his first dip in the pond. Right now, there are total 25 international monasteries from different nations.

Day 8th. Lumbini – Kathmandu

Departure to Kathmandu and then to native country.
